Beretta A400 Lite Black is a lightweight Italian semi-automatic hunting shotgun with a black synthetic stock, designed for active use across varied terrain and weather conditions. This configuration is chambered in 12/76, with a 71 cm barrel, Kick-Off® recoil-control system and interchangeable Optimachoke® High Performance choke tubes.
The A400 Lite Black combines low weight, durable synthetic furniture and a dependable semi-automatic action. The black polymer is practical in rain, snow, mud and changing temperatures, while the textured areas on the pistol grip and forend provide secure control with bare hands or hunting gloves.
Its 71 cm barrel offers a practical balance between smooth swing and manoeuvrability, making the shotgun suitable for waterfowl and upland hunting, as well as extended days in the field.
The gas system uses a controlled portion of the firing energy to eject the spent case and load the next cartridge automatically. It provides a fast and dependable operating cycle.
The stock-mounted system reduces perceived recoil by up to 60% and supports faster recovery after each shot.
Beretta barrel technology developed to produce a uniform and predictable shot pattern across different hunting distances.
Interchangeable choke tubes allow the shot pattern to be adapted to the selected ammunition, distance and type of hunting.
The Kick-Off® system works together with the Extralight® 20 mm recoil pad to reduce shoulder load. This is particularly useful during extended shooting sessions and when using more powerful ammunition within the firearm’s approved specifications.
The stock is designed for a right-handed shooter and can be adjusted using the supplied 50/65 stock plates and 1" spacer.
The supplied equipment includes OCHP choke tubes No. 1, No. 3 and No. 5, together with a choke-tube wrench. They allow the shooter to select an appropriate constriction for the hunting conditions and ammunition.
The receiver allows the installation of a compatible mounting base for a red dot or another suitable aiming device.
